Türk Telekom aims to increase internet penetration through its strategy of expanding the fixed broadband market. In the mobile market, it aims to increase its subscriber and revenue market share with its synergy offerings through its strong fiber cable infrastructure and its range of mobile frequencies, and its wireless household synergy offers. The Company also aims to increase the penetration rate in the Pay TV market with its extensive investments in fixed broadband, extensive platform options such as IPTV, satellite and Web/Smart TV, and an extensive range of content.
The expansion of the fiber infrastructure is important for the development of the country and the industry, and also for supporting 5G and next generation technologies. Therefore, as the leading telecommunications company which establishes and develops Turkey’s communication backbone, Türk Telekom approaches the development of the fiber infrastructure with a special sensitivity. For the last 10 years, Türk Telekom have accelerated the expansion of its fiber network, a process which will contribute to Turkey’s digital transformation and provide the fixed infrastructure for 5G technology.

The Company has undertaken a pioneering role with Türk Telekom International - international wholesale data, voice and roaming services with about 49,5 thousand kms of own fiber network; İnnova - leading software developer and system integrator providing ICT consulting, design, application development, integration and support services; Argela - R&D innovation company focusing on the next generation telecom technologies; Sebit - leading and largest e-educational technologies company with over 30 years of R&D experience; AssisTT - strategic partner for leading private enterprises and public institutions while providing call center and value-added services; Türk Telekom Ödeme Hizmetleri - payment solutions services with a strong position in direct operator billing and holding electronic money license; and TT Ventures - with focus on investing in early-stage and scale-up companies primarily in healthcare, energy and education verticals, as well as opportunistic horizontals.
60% of Türk Telekom shares belongs to Türkiye Wealth Fund, 25% belongs to Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The remaining 15% is publicly traded. Türk Telekom shares are listed in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) since May 2008.
